Programme Requirements for 2024/25 Session

The following must be taken:
Students must choose a further 100 credits (at least 40 credits from each group). 2: 100 CR Students are required to balance their credits across the two semesters in a 60/60 split. 2: 100 CR Students are reminded that if they intend to take the 40 credit 12,000k word Dissertation module in Theology and Religion, they must select the Dissertation Preparation module from the theology and religion group. 2: 100 CR Students may take 20 credits from the CAL Future Skills list Group A - Philosophy (Indicative list – subject to variation each year)
Group B – Theology and Religion (Indicative list – subject variation each year) CAL Future Skills Modules
Students may also apply to undertake a Professional Skills module at level I. If successful this will be taken in place of 20 credits of taught modules. The credits to be dropped will be discussed with the programme convenor. The placement can be taken either during the summer vacation (part-time or full-time) or during semester 1 (part-time only). The placement must be completed prior to the Christmas vacation.
